 Post subject: rebuilding my engine

i am having a hell of a time rebuilding my engine. first i put it back together and it wouldnt start i figured out it was the distributer cap so i jixed that and it still wont start i am getting discouraged so please help me figure out what is wrong. thanks Spin

By the way is your motor cranking? Acting like its going to start but won't? It would help to have more info

Cars need 3 things to work: fuel, air, and spark. Check to make sure your getting all 3. If one of them isn't working then it will be easier to find and fix. Oh and always look to the simplist solution.
