I've been dealing with an intermittent high idle for two weeks now. When it first started, got the code checked - 35 Idle Speed Control Malfunction. I changed out the IAC, but still had the problem intermittently. Changed it out again with a part from a different shop thinking maybe a bad part, but same thing. Still keep getting code 35. Sometimes the car idles and runs fine, others it idles around 1500 rpm. Seems to work better when it's warm, but not always.

What else could it be and what should I check?

Look for a loose/dirty electrical connection/ground, and/or vacuum leak.
