So it shifts into gear, wait Slams into gear! its a th350 pretty much new, and it has a shift kit, but now it slams even harder into gear. when i was running it at the track i could feel somethin like hit the floorboards like there was a pretty good hit somewhere. could this be clutch?

Do you mean that there is a delay between when you put it in gear and it actually going into gear? Check you fluid level and condition, and if it is OK, you may want to check your vacuum modulator, and if that doesnt fix it, id guess that its the converter. btw, an automatic transmission has no clutch, just clutch packs in the rotating assembly of the transmission

ok,
Yea, it went into gear hard, but ive driven it alot and know how it should shift, something like broke apart, or i think cause i could like feel it on the floor boards, and now it just slams into gear, like 2 times as hard. nothing leaks, and it drives fine, but idk. This happened in the water box at the strip. so could have the fly wheel broke or cracked? or the TC start to come apart? whatever it was musta not been very strong, if it happened cause of a water box warm up. ugh!

Hi c_creations, hello everyone,
What do your timeslips say?
c_creations wrote: .......... happened in the water box .......... Always drive around the water unless you have slicks. c_creations wrote: .......... it has a shift kit, but now it slams even harder into gear ......... c_creations wrote: .......... i could like feel it on the floor boards .......... Broken drivers side motor mount. Another reason not to power brake. Possible U-joint/driveshaft, but I'll go with the mount.. Brando wrote: .......... I'm guessing you have the harshest level installed ...........
B&M has only one level. All it does is raise the line pressure so it can break drivetrain parts. Kind of like a BFH.
The basic Transgo, will work fine down to the mid elevens.
But what do I know?
Regards, Norm
