hi i am having a problem with my mini van not changing gear smoothly from 1st to 2nd .have changed the trans oil and fillter and it is running better but still needs the modulater valve .i have read the manual and looked and looked again still can not see were it is can any body tell me .it is a 03 model

How many miles are on the transmission? Has the trans fluid and filter ever been changed? Are you getting any service engine soon lights during these rough shifts?

Is the shift from 1-2 a delayed shift or is it a quick and harsh shift?

Need more info.
