:( :( :( :( OK, so I went to the local junkyard and got a tranny with only 90,000 miles on it. Put that in along with a new torque converter. Car still won't shift out of second and to top it off the fans won't come on and the car is overheating. Of course, when the car is hot it won't shift at all. I AM VERY CONFUSED!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Possible, it's the reason the car was junked. Or, it could be, your trans was not the problem.

Or, you can continue to throw parts at it, until it's fixed.

That specialist could have told you, exactly, what caused your problem.

What did you disconnect, and forget to replace?
