I went to Meijer today, I went there looking for some Hydraulic Jack Oil for my Harbor Freight Foldable 1 Ton Shop Crane, instead I came out with two bottles of Lucas Fuel Treatment (1 for my intrigue, 1 for my mom's) and a bottle of Lucas Transmission Fix. My Intrigue's transmission has been acting up, erratic shifting and it always shifted hard since I bought it (used). There is a TSB on it, it says that the pressure control solenoid may be the culprit, but it also could be sticky/dirty valves or incorrect fluid level. Not too easy to take the side cover off of the transmission on your daily driver to replace the solenoid or clean the valve body, so I thought I'd give Lucas Transmission Fix a try. Meijer didn't have any Hydraulic Jack Oil so I ended up going to the local Do It Best hardware store.

Anyways, I have yet to try out the fuel treatment, but I just put in the Lucas Transmission Fix and drove around the area a little bit. WOW, instant smooth shifts, I can no longer feel at what speed I am shifting... I must have had some sticky valves. BTW, I had just recently changed the filter and fluid with little or no effect to shifting quality.

I highly recommend this product....

Did you just dump some down the dipstick tube? Mines a little low on fluid, so I was thinking about topping it off with something like this.

Yep...that's the way you fill it with new fluid too. Definately worth trying, $7.69 for a 24oz bottle. I only used about half the bottle so far, might poor the rest in my mom's car for preventative measures.
