Ok where should i start! I was driving my car earlier today and everything was alright. I went to use it again and the voltage light appeared, I got nervous and tried to drive to the nearest auto zone for a battery and alternator inspection. Well I did not make it because when my power steering started to not work, I left the hood up and noticed the belt that goes around the alternator was off. My question is does this sound like a idler pulley issue?

Did you inspect your belt for any problems? When the belt is properly in place, can you remove the belt using only your hands, or do you require a tool to loosen the idler?

It was the idler pulley my husband replaced it today! So hopefully everything will work out ok.
