I checked my tranny fluid level and it is about an inch above the full mark. Could that cause me to get a check engine light? I am curious because it has come on since I have had the car but it drives nice except for the power pulsation under light throttle inputs.

Is there a way to remove some of the tranny fluid without dropping the pan?

Thanks
Thad

Yes, you can siphon it out....how you do it depends on if your willing to buy a mity-vac or if you've mastered the technique of not getting trans fluid in your mouth, your call. :D

Do you think this could cause a pulsation in power with a light throttle input?

You might use a cheap turkey baster as well. Just don't re-use the turkey baster. You can add some fuel line to the end of the turkey baster in order to extend its reach.

I had the Dealer replace the rear main seal and a handful of other gaskets and now it runs like a top.

Now I just need to get my engine to not overheat and the AC needs to work....
