The wipers on my car have an odd quirk If you turn the signal stalk to turn them on 95% of the time the won't work so I have to push the stalk toward the dash for 5-10 seconds until it finally catches and works.

I've tried replacing the fuses I'm leaning toward it being a short somewhere near the signal stalk since pushing and holding the stalk for a second fixes it. anyone else have any ideas?

Does anything else on the stalk (cruise control, turn signals) have the same issue?

no the only other problem is the left turn signal doesn't disengage so you have to flip it manually but other than that no
