Another problem, I can't tell whether there is a vavle in there or not.

All the pictures I've compared to say... no.
I just read a source that says some GM fwrd don't have the valve part. But local parts store says they have one for the car in stock.
Also, how much suction should one feel when holding thumb against the crankcase side.

Thanks for any help on this matter.

The fuse is in the fuse panel under the dash or it is located in the convenience center under hood, just get your meter and make sure you 12 volts to your relay.
