Just bought a '91 Silhouette. When I turn it off and exit, I hear the rear air compressor continue to run for about a minute or so. There is nothing in the van except the seats. The rear shocks seem to be extended about as far as they can go because the van has a definite front "lean". Looks wierd.

I have not checked to see if the link that operates the compressor is connected but the shocks do not seem to be leaking, otherwise they would not be extended as they are.

Any suggestions? Is there a fuse I can remove until I find out the prob? When I remove the 25 amp one marked ELEC (Electronic Level Control) the compressor continues to run.

TIA
John

Update: Today I found that the link for the compressor was diisconnected on one end, making the compressor run most of the time, finally running down the battery. I connected it correctly and everything is now OK. I'm surprised the hoses didn't blow, with all that pressure.
