I am looking to see if anybody out there would have some advice for me. I am working on a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Coupe with the 3.1 engine. I have been having problems with the digital dash shorting when im driving. I scored one for free from a junk yard and when i removed the digital dash from the other car, all I had to remove was I believe was 6-7 bolts and then there was a blue connector to seperate and that was it. My question is will I be ok removing my old digital dash to check and see if the one I just aquired is working properly? Im afraid if i disconnect the one working now i will do some damage, or am i worrying too much, and i can just unhook the old one and try the new on and if it does not work i can just put the orginal one back in?
