I have had some ongoing problems with spark in my 92 cutlass ciera. We noticed the initial problem when it was hesitating erratically while driving and not idling regularly when stopped, sometimes
revving, sometimes dying from low idle. We replaced the crank shaft sensor after it died and wouldn't start again and it was fine for about a month and then the problem came back. Only it seems worse than before and I can hear the crackle of a spark when listening to the car run with the hood up at the same time it's doing the weird idle. Any ideas greatly appreciated as the shop has no opening for 2 wks
