Not to sound like an ad, but I recently had my ABS, traction off, and service vehicle soon light come on. Main code was C0550, which basically says the EBTCM has an internal malfunction and needs to be replaced. Looking at new modules, I found around $1100 from dealer and Amazon had it for around $500.
Scoured the internet for more options.
Found this guy on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/140669183808
eBay Seller ID: ivan_zheltov

Fairly easy to remove. Removed the air box for easier access. Six T20 torx screws hold EBTCM module to hydraulic valve assembly (only exposes solenoids, no brake fluid leaks out). Covered exposed solenoids with aluminum foil and drove it like that temporarily.

Sent my module in via UPS. He received it last Friday. Repaired it and sent it out right away. Received today (Monday) and installed. Works like new.

$55 for repair and $0.83 for some new screws (old ones were rusty).
