I looking for a cheap but good replacement for my crappy stock replacement 2" Walker true dual exhaust. I'm looking for 2.5" true dual exhaust with giving good sound. I'm looking for your guys experience with these types of exhaust and whats my best bet for me right now. Heres my choices for exhaust piping and kits, keep in mind I'm on a budget:

1. Flowmaster American Thunder series exhaust, price $315, for full kit 2.5" includes all piping, brackets, hangers, and mufflers, Summit pt# FLO-17120
2. Flowmaster 2.5 exhaust kit w/o mufflers, $99.95, Summit pt# FLO-15802
3. Summit dual exhaust kit, 2.25", includes all piping, brackets, hangers, and mufflers, $129.95, Summit pt# SUM-680120
4. Jeg's Custom dual exhaust kit 2.5" $160 includes everything Jegs pt# 555-30551

Now if I get a kit without mufflers I would like to get either Magnaflows or DynoMax mufflers, I don't know which one to get, I would like a mice slight rumble from my exhaust but I don't want cops giving me sound violation tickets, I just want a nice roar when I punch the gas, I heard Magna Flows on this guys Chevy 350 and they sounded pretty sweet, but I don't know which type of Magnaflows they were.

I had the Flowmaster american thunder system on my 73 Ventura with a 455, nice system, came with all related parts, and fit well. I was more than happy with it. Many exhaust shops absolutely HATE bending tailpipes for an A body, because theres soooo many bends to each tailpipe to clear the rear suspension, and if they're not juuuuuust right, they'll constantly rub and hit on the rear links. I would say for $315 for the full system, hangers, mufflers, and everything, thats not a bad price. The american thunder system is all aluminized, if I remember right, and will most likely come with welded case mufflers, and has a nice sound, not like a typical " mustang with flowmasters" system either....
