Hi, my name is Francisco, I'm 17 years old, I'm writing since Mexico. Here is my problem: I have an Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser '75 (but my grandfather says is a Cutlass Supreme Cruiser, I don't know if this model really exist), well, the engine is a 455 (396021Fa), the question is:

Which is difference between the 396021F and the 396021Fa?

I hope you can help me, I really love this car, Olds Engines are the best of the best.

Regards from Mexico

Hola tolesco,

Bienvenido a TOC

'64-'77 Cutlass Wagons were Vista Cruisers. There were no Cutlass Cruisers until '78.

Your 396021Fa is a '72-'76 455 Olds, while 396021F is '68-'71 455 Olds.

Recuerdos, Norm

Thanks man, I listen that 396021F is better than 396021Fa, is it really true?, which is better?

Well, the problem about the name is because I found an etiquette inside the car and this says:

Cutlass Supreme Cruiser - Vista Cruiser

What can be?

Saludos.

Later blocks were a little lighter in weight, and the engines came with lower compression, but they are no better, or worse, than the earlier block.

Etiquette?
