I just bought a 1988 Cutlass Ciera, it has a 2.5L I4 and I was wondering what a good engine to put in would be. If there are no good options could you suggest any parts for the current engine?

What is your overall goal? Is the engine in the vehicle right now not running properly? Or are you looking to increase the get-up-n-go?

My main goal is to produce more power cause I am not satisfied with the power it is making right now but I don;t want it to be overly powerful and undriveable.
