Most of us can see why 91buickman refuses to include the actual quotes in his replies.

For the few who cannot, here it is,again:

First: I did not say anything of the kind.

Never mind.

For any of those who have trouble keeping up, here it is again:

........ I used to swap a 350 into everything i owned, (350 chevette was badass)........

The OP brought it up. He used it, to illustrate his skill/experience level.

If one is familiar with the Chevette and the Olds V8, one knows that it is not likely that this conversion would have been accomplished by a beginner. On the contrary, it implies a higher competence level than is normally found in a forum such as this one.

Exactly the opposite of what we have been seeing.

Well, Allow me to be a little bit clearer. The Chevette was purchased as a project car from the deceased owners parents. The sheet metal for the floor was already done and the rear axle was already mounted. I needed to fabricate and place mounts for the engine and trans. Yeah, its obvious how to secure an engine in place. I have been directed to the sites for the L67 swap and they are a great help.

On the cars i am used to tuning and building its either a full custom job, or there are mounts/brackets that need to be sourced from other vehicles (even other makes sometimes) to use as a good starting point. More specificially thats what i was asking for.

As far as the electronics go, helpful information is not how EFI works nor how the otto cycle works, though i appreciate the interjection into the ensuing argument Andrewk. I'm more interested in electronics information related to performance, (does anyone write a tune for these, or am i going to have to use a megasquirt system. Also i was asking if anyone here had performed the swap and already knew how to modify the wiring harness, if the harness needed to be modified at all. (in my latest and most intensive turbo build the body of the car and the engine of the car work on two seperate computers that are linked and swapping of an engine requires a different engine harness that is compatible with the bodies.)

Thank you everyone who has helped. even 88coupe. for whatever its worth.

Normally, the entire drivetrain is put in place, and its position finalized, before any interior sheet metalwork is started.

Look for vendors. Unlike forums, they will have the most accurate information and any parts you might need.

Hp tuners and DHP both make software so you can tune you r own Pcm for the 97+ Gm series 2 motors, as for wiring you will have to "piggy back" the series 2 Pcm to the existing wiring in your car, also your gauge cluster might need some fabbing to make everything work right
