Hi guyes i know im a newbie here and well i just got an 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera that i thought was crappy (i know...i said it) but then i realized it was a beast and i figured i should work with it...so that brings me here...

Me and my father have already put in a aftermarket stereo and have the interior stuff worked out but what i was interested in knowing is that are their any Performance modifications that would make the car run faster or stronger?

As of now i have a 3.1-liter V-6....its at 151,000 miles surviving smoothly i might add

Hi Armoredcoregt,

Welcome to TOC.

There are few, if any, "bolt ons" that will show any measurable power increases. A performance rebuild, using custom parts, can produce significant gains but it would not be cheap.

How fast do you want to go and what is your budget?
How much loss in fuel mileage can you accept?
Do you want to keep it emissions legal?

Very likely, because the drivetrain was not molested.

The usual suggestion, is to replace the engine/transaxle with a 3800 Buick drivetrain, but for most people, it is not a practical choice.
