Looking to replace the 4 barrel rochester carburetor on a 1956 Olds 324.
Is there any newer carburetors that will fit and have the tranny linkage ?

I know nothing about trannys.

If you mean trans, the newer carbs can be modified to place the linkage properly.

Barrels on newer carbs are larger and spaced further apart as are the mounting bolts, so some kind of "adapters" or an aftermarket intake manifold, would be needed. Contact Ross Racing Engines if you want to go that route.

Or you can have Sparky's Carbs rebuild the one you have.

Thanks Norm

I tried the rebuild by myself and also by The Carb Shop and haven't had much luck. I am going call the link you listed and see what they know.

Thanks again
