I ran into this on Ebay ...CLICK HERE... They'll probably charge more than the listed shipping cost to ship to the UK... email them anyway and see how much

Hi there,
Didn't worry about bidding, there was a 'buy now' thing for $5 so i went for it! Looking forward to getting it, it'll be nice to have!
On another note, it's weird because everyone in the UK with a US car seems to be a bit older! Reason being petrol prices and MPG can prove to be a lot of money, plus insurance over here is silly expensive for young drivers in big cars. Its nice to see some young people with these cars, and seeing what they can do to them!
Thanks for all your help, and cheers for being interested!
dave

Sweet, congrats on the manual! Is insurance more if you have a bigger car over there??? That just seams kinda wierd, but then again here in the us everyone has a big fridgen suv! I guess if everyone had a smaller car then it would make sence.

alot of the insurance cost can depend on the theft rating on that particular car also.
This is great... we're really becoming a global orginization here.. USA, Canada, and now the UK
Brando maybe we should figure out a way to build in some sort of currency and unit of measure converter so we all don't have to do so much math
go ahead... call me lazy

I am looking into it...unit of measure converter seems possible...but currency conversion rates change daily....so that would be a little difficult to keep track of....

It would be cool of the unit of measure thing could work though
Hmm...I found a currency conversion script that checks on current currency conversion rates from a reliable source. I'll integrate it sometime....we'll see....I'll probably make my own calculator for the unit of measure converter....what measure conversions should I include?

hmmm....
just some of the standard to metric and metric to standard conversions for units that might come up while talking about cars, ex. miles to Km's cubic inches to litres, and the other way around of course.
there must be alot more but I'm kinda drawing a blank right at this moment.
