I hope you guys can help me out. I have 1997 Olds Cutlass Supreme that has a sticky shift lever. What happen was a glass of COKE got dumped on the center console beside the shift lever and ran inside of it. Now it is hard to get into gear. We removed the center console and cleaned it up good but some the coke ran inside the shifter lever itself. What is the best way to clean the inside of the shifter. Can we remove the shifter lever from the car and take it apart and clean it?
