Anyone here in a band? My band is named Rubicon Crossing, and we have been doing pretty well lately. I play synth, even though the site isn't updated with a pic of me... We all went to school together, went our seperate ways, but never lost touch... Last year we all decided to do something and it has turned out pretty well so far.

I'm not in a band but I do write/perform my own music and am in the process of purchasing all of the stage/studio equipment I need to give the music biz a shot (estimated 14,000 dollars worth)...and then I'll probably be LOOKING for a band to play with! That's way cool that you're having good luck!

No, Im not listed... when we recorded this summer, I couldnt make the sessions, so I havent been added yet... we are still waiting on a decent pic to throw up there-

However, I wrote most of the synth lines-

My little brother is in a band... He plays bass. They sound great, the singer has a great set of lungs. They just dropped $30,000 into producing thier first record, but its done right. They write & play all thier own music, and its quite different.

Our album only ran us about 3k... we got a good hookup with a great guy here in Iowa... should have cost at least triple that.

Well! My band sealed a movie soundtrack deal last night... supposed to be a nationwide horror flick... We get to go to Detroit in May to re-record our title track, specific details to come in April, when the budget is finalized...

The director loved our title track, and has 'big plans' for it apparantly... guy isnt a total tool either, he has worked with Snoop and Dre, and some other hiphop guys, as well as some national rock acts...

I may have peed my pants a lil when I got that call...

Hopefully all works out... I know I am keepin my fingers crossed!

My brother is a realy good guitar player, he used to be in a band that won the battle of the bands 3 years in a row. Then they split up and he's looking for new people to play with. Not sure if he's got a myspace page, I know he used to, I'll ask him and post later.
