The G-body includes all 1982-1988 rwd Cutlass Supreme/Salon/442, Buick Regal/GN, Pontiac Bonneville/Grand Prix, and Chevy Malibu/Monte Carlo. They are related to the ElCamino (though i dont know if they also share the G designation). The G body cars were the older midsized car platform which was prior known as the A-body. The A body designation went front wheel drive in 1982 with the introduction of the Cutlass Ciera/Century/6000/Celebrity cars, and those which that had been rwd a bodys were renamed g body.

Like the Malibu wagon, the El Camino was a G body.

Black finish is part of the package. Under the skin, it's a Buick Grand National. I don't know anything else about it.

Along with the matching inners (wheel centers) that support/align them.

Good example of your "playground" attitude.

Your juvenile use of font coding, not only distracts attention from the actual context of the message, but it makes it hard for many people to read.

In this case, it is also insulting, because it implies that one did not read your post, before responding to it.

Hard to get much more childish than that.

Please PM your hurt feelings to me so we can discuss them between me and you, nobody wants to hear what you think is insulting and your version of what is insulting or not. get back on topic and as you have gotten on other members about---read before you post , bold just emphasizes what you missed, makes a little easier to relay my point to you.

Is it [the elcamino in the picture] made to be a production spec GN? Better said, did you mean that it is a GN with an elcamino body over it?

Also, what is the difference between a stock turbo and the PT-61?

After seeing that car again... I have to say again- What a cool looking car- 8-)

Just for clarifaction- its a Elcamino with the GN front clip
as for the turbo i mentioned its bigger and spools faster than the factory Garrett. heres the link if anyone is curious on the specs. http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/prod/PT61-T350-E

also check out www.rjcracing.com they have some pretty sick GN's

The EC frame/body is a few inches longer than the other G bodies. Other than that, everything interchanges.

It started out as an EC. Every part, unique to the GN, was used to replace its EC counterpart, starting with the front clip and interior. This made, what is called, a "Phantom" (nonexistent) GN.

Using a non GN part (supercharger) would not fit into the intended theme.

I don't know, but it must be profound if it can put an otherwise production spec GN into the elevens, with no chassis modifications.

I have to ask why does "production spec" come into play?
Not to mention he had drag radials IIRC when i saw that 11second pass either way from that pic its impossible to tell what he has done to the suspension.
