As of yesterday I am now the proud owner of a silver 2001 Aurora 3.5 with 80,000 miles. Still gettng used to all of the buttons and all, but this car is amazing!

I just added a pic of the car (when it was still at the shop) to the album.

congrats!!!! Nice purchase. I bet that thing is ballsy! No matter how much I love my 1988, the newer cars are sooo much tighter.

Thanks 88, the Aurora is quick, and feels very sporty after driving the 88 and Cutlass. Best of all, I now have all Oldsmobiles since the Buick is going to my brother.

Nice choices...the aurora is one of my favorite oldsmobiles....although they are all my favorites... Except for the firenza... :(

I wanted to get one, but the intrigue has a special place in my heart....plus it was cheaper and uses cheaper gas (4.0 requires premium, 3.5 is regular).

I have a 97 4.0 aurora, its real quick wish it did not top out at 110 cuz of the limit. I do have one question for anyone with answers. Has anyone been able to find custom head and tail lights for any aurora? 97 would be amazing, also does anyone know the average miles until they just are not worth replacing parts? and i am bout to look at the pictures i should add mine on here, its nice looking white with 5% tint, looks good. I want to get some rims, nothing to crazy just some 18s maybe 20 at the most but i think that may look funny. also i want to get chrome trim

I can't believe its been about 2 years since I bought the Aurora. Its still a great car, though very expensive to own thanks to the high cost of repairs and maintenance.
