I am new to this forum, and I stumbled on it searching for info about my car. I have an 87 Olds Delta 88 that has a few modifications. I am the third owner; my grandpa owned it before me, and he bought it at an estate sale from the first owner. The first owner was an old guy, it really shows through on the car. I have a soft top roof, mudflaps, and luggage rack on the trunk. It only had 52,000 miles on it when I bought it a month ago. the only problem it has is in the transmission. It sometimes does not like to shift into 2nd, so I will be going 45mph with my engine roaring. I have changed the tranny fluid and filter, and added Lucas trans fix. It helped, but still does it sometimes.
The body is in perfect shape, with only a few dings and a few places where the clearcoat is flecking off. It has no rust, which is surpising for a Michigan Car, lol. It is a silver color with blue ragtop, which has no tears.
This was quite an upgrade from ny Plymouth Horizion with 191,000 Miles.
I would appreciate any feedback that ayone my have.
