before I left chicagoland on may 19th (to come out here to ElCajon CA to help my grandparents move to Keller Texas/and fix up house fer sellin) I had already been in it for a ride! (couldn't start up the rear engine with the Fuzz around-no exhaust on it-flomaster on the front engine). your right it was awesome! It flat hauled @$$! (looks completely stock don't it!?) I have run 13.5@102mph in my 2800$ Redneck Nova-iNOVAtion! (lots of good old redneck engineering in her!) and can honestly say that when we go to the track next summer he actually has a chance of beating me! (maybe not if I get 10.5 in slicks instead of the 8 inchers)
The front tires just unloaded and started spinning, but the back just squatted and pushed the hell out of the car! we ran her up to 40 mph before backing off-love the sound of 12 cylinders and 6.9L's! when decelerating!! :D he still needs to get it re registered but he still has lots of interior work to do! (the rear engine firewall makes it look like we have a HUGE Subwoofer box! courtesy of the six 15 in grillcovers he screwed onto it (from radioshack!) for some reason they don't notice the fact there are 3 guages where the radio was!) we have more to do when I get back to make sure that the tech inspector don't go lookin TOO closely! (at least until after the first few runs!)
didja see what we have planned for the future?
It will be awesome!

If ya followed the link thats about all I posted on the project incuding the few pics I have I have been trying to get my buddy Al to email me of snailmail me some newer pics of her so I can post them at AllOldsPower-he's kinda a low tech guy (I had to reduce the Trofeo's harness -ditch the BCM, etc and wire up a VATS PassKey signal generator to keep it from going into antitheft mode(injectors shut off).
It's just aproject that we started after we got the trofeo for free and did in his driveway (and my garage) over the course of 3 months. (we actually have a total of 22 days in it if you count 12 hr days) not incl. the interior comforts and the rest of the dressup stuff.
Thank god I bought my HyperTherm 900 plasma cutter (cuts 7/8 in steel and will sever 1 3/8 inch steel---60amps at 220v!) cause it would have taken ALLOT longer without it!
someday we will get our own website but probably not until I start my own shop in IL speciallizing in twin engine cars (great fuel economy and you can still wup a corvette!) just imagine a twin engine Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (two supercharged 3.8L's!!!!!) :D
