I bought the fiberglass kit you see in the Eastwood catalog for $99 because once I started pricing everything individually, it was getting really close to that. And at least with the Eastwood kit you get a video. Yeah, its cheesy but gives a good starters look at how to begin.

The part I was wondering about though is that they never once stated in the video that you needed to be wearing a quality organic respirator. The instructor didn't use anything but gloves.
I have a quality respirator that I use for everything. Sanding, painting, etc.

Going through Eastwood when I did I saved on shipping (no shipping costs at the time) but found that this place:

www.fibreglast.com that I have been looking through extensively learning some fiberglass do's and don'ts, is in my own backyard. LOL I ordered an MEKP dispensor and a quart of Acetone from them and when I received the confirmation email, saw that their address was in a few town away. A total of maybe 10 minutes.

Its good to know I have a place local here that I can get all of my future supplies from.

I'm hoping to cast this first piece this weekend and depending on how it goes, I may end up making all of my trunk dress-up panels out of fiberglass.

I also still have to make a few pieces from fiberglass to get the Mustang rockers to fit my Cutlass, so those will probably be next.
