Hey guys, remember a while back we all wanted to get some exhaust note samples up on the site? I did some recording, it didnt turn out great, but you can get the idea...

Anyways, the problem I face is that the only digital sound recording device I have access to is my digital camera! So, I've got a .mpg video with a sound track I want to strip from it. Off the top of your guys' heads, do you know of a piece of software to separate the audio and video tracks in a standard .mpg file?

As soon as I do this, I can get the files up! I dont even know why I recorded my car, it sounds like a normal car on tape!!! Nonetheless...

I used creative recorder (bundled with my SB Audigy)


You can also use the microsoft version of that, make sure in your recording properties you have it set to 'WAVE" OR "what you hear"
