LOL 4 wheel steering will have to wait for now as we have bigger priorities (turbocharger #1)
plus i wouldnt do it unless i had the Delphi rear steer setup from a 1500 GM as most of the work is done for me and they have solved allot of the safety problems (belville self centering springs).
the added bonus is easy switching between positive and negative steering position of the rear wheels.
not goona happen anytime soon, maybe when more rear steer 1500 trucks are in the Jyards
besides after we have fun on the 1/4, autox or maybe even drifting lol
a toy's a toy schlim

been working on the 442 lately and i have new pics!
Here's Al next to the 442
for those who are curious about the cage here's a pic of the RR strut tower and the cage the wireing will be in a loom at some point...
view of the 3800's ECM and wiring behind the pass seat ECM at bottom with the 3800 fuse box right above it and above that is the 90 Trofeo VatsPasskey module box with a signal generator inside to fool the ECM into thinking the antitheft is still there, and enabling the injector drivers.
here's a shot of the interior with the seats out to make work easier-the dash is apart for gauge work and painting/wiring work then the carpet will be laid down-you can see the dual shifters to.
AND THE BIGGIE! here is the new (used) turbocharger that will be going onto the the rear 3800 engine (winter of 05'?) it is a Mitsubishi TD06-17c-8cm^2 that is the stock type turbo for 91-93 4.3L turbocharged Cyclone/Typhoon. according to the compressor map it will easily make a good boost curve and support 400Hp. But the turbo will be sent out to be modified to the TD06-20G-16cm^2 specs and compressor wheel, which will give a bit more lag on the bottom end (a small shot of N20 will help that!) but will (by my calc) peak at 24psi boost and flow enough air to make 550+Hp YEEEEHAAWWW! cant wait to start fabbing it all up!
hope you have enjoyed this as much as I have! lol!
James

on monday we finished putting in the (reman-90 Trofeo) axles, and some more wiring (damn snow). got to start her up check all fluids etc. we still have some more work to do and finish the rear firewall, but we got to drive her up the street-on an eyeball alignment-wet roads made fer a nice 4 wheel burnout but no smoke... still more than enough to get the adrenalin pumping
we need to re register it but all in due time (need muffler on rear engine-LOL) this next monday will hopefully be video day so ya'll can hear this bad boy and see it in action (hoping fer decent weather)
here are some new pics:
Drivers side, rear axle
passenger side, rear axle
and new shot of the Aeromotive 100 psi pump and Magnaflow Y splitter
cant wait to git on the road again.....
regards, James

for now the front 3100 exhaust goes through a flomaster 2 chamber (where the cat used to be) and exits right in front of the RR tire (compromise for being able to drive it while we were putting in the rear engine etc.).
the rear engine is open downpipe right now but will be going to the LR cutout in the (DOHC cutty) rear bumper and the front will exit the RR cutout (this pipe will have flanges for removal when removing the rear engine etc.)---both with matching tips!
as fer how she looks here:
before the rear engine got installed-you can see right through the wheel wells!
here's how she looked on monday:
Yeah talk about a sleeper.....
cant wait to see the look on a mustang owners face...
