Welp...I have tried my best to keep my baby on the road...through rust...sensors braking...a intertior being trashed when i had my problem a while back...vandels on the motor...and just plan agrivation...but now...it is time to pass the torch...today the ABS light came on and stayed on...when i got home i found 2 leaks in a gas line...the cars gas mileage has been sucking over the past 8 months anyway...possible leak in the break system...so 2morrow I am taking the beast to a dealership i trust...They are giving me $1000 for it(or thats what they said) and i am going to get myself a new baby...i removed my 15" Estrella's...my subs...my amp...and my nice 2 cage wire...i am leaving my stereo in it...mye tweeters and 3way 6x9's along with alot of memories....i just can't deal with this car breaking any more...so for all you people whole know what i mean...say a prayer...light a candle....kiss your car...and hold your girl/guy tight for me...

OK So today I get up at 7 Am and mom drove me ove to look at cars. FYI she drives a 2001 Chevy Tracker 4 door 4x4 with a V6...which you will see why i said that in a minute. I got to the dealer ship and saw Mark (the only dealer I will talk to there cause he is a friend of the family) he said right off the bat even with the problem he would give me $1000 for my car and he didn't even need to look at it or drive it. Any othr dealer said MAYBE $500 if it drives nice. So He said what was i looking for. I sai I would like a 4 door car...but a truck is not out either. Basically I wanted the payments to be low So he said about $10k when we tried to figure it out in out heads. he right off the abt had 4 cars.

Well the Tracker he said had a 4cly in it unlike my mom's. Then mom said "I test drove this exact car." So it ws kinda of odd it was the same car my mom test drove when it was Brand new and had like 25 miles on it. Well some one bought it at 49 miles then just traded it back in recently. I looked it over. Looked nice. I said well let be far and test drive them all...expect the 2 door cause thats just not what i am looking for. I hate 2 door cards with all the stuff i have to carry in the back seat alot. So i starte by driving teh Aztek. Well soon as i sat in it i was like nice looking but man the view SUCKS! Blind spots bigger than a Sumo Wrestlers ass (by the way I like to watch sumo so thats not a cut on them just didnt want to say something that might offend someone). Bu i was like lets give it a chance...So I drive it. IT has nice get up and go. Alot of room...but I thought about it...its size and all would make the gas mileage suck. And for a vehicle this size it should have 4x4. The view out the ass end through the mirror sucked also. But I did like the cooler that was included in the center between the seats. But it just wasn't me. I drove back and Mark was there. I said NOOO WAY!

So next we drove the Tracker next and thats where it stopped. Great get up for a 4 cly. and it was comfy. I didn't have any trouble seeing out of it. Not one drawback is that the stereo only had a cassette. But I could get over that. So i went back and said I want it.

Well to make a long story short...I got it at 5.75% and took it home. I put $2000 down. I don't know if I will put a new stereo in or just get a portable....but that will come later. Its silver and I love how it drives. I figure being i run cars until they get way to expsive or annoying to fix I would keep this a long time and get my use out of it. May not be what some people think I should be driving but...well...bite me I love this car.

Now to sell my wheels/tires but I may end up just taking the tires off and save for my Tracker cause they are the right size i think. Gotta check into that.

I have started teasing my girlfriend saying we have to break this car in somehow...gonna be alittle hard cause we are not having sex till marriage(something we both want)...since of the 4 cars in my life I ahve owned only 2 of them were mostly problem free...those 2 being the ones i had sex in at some point. Least now I can lay the seats down in this one it will almost be like the truck bed...hehe!

Tracker wouldn't of been my choice, that's for sure....
But good luck with your new vehicle, it's always nice to get a new vehicle....gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside....
