I just got a Nokia 6010, Cingular service, and The Simpsons theme ringtone.
It's a pretty cool phone, it has games, polyphonic ringtones, aim, internet access, color screen... 8)

I have a cell phone through my work, but I can use it for personal use also. Its a:
Samsung A540, polyphonic ring tones, web access but no color screen. Its a good phone, tough as nails, but its aging rather quickly... It's through Telus mobility, and kind of a crappy plan. One thing I really like about this phone is the flip-top and the really cool blue LED buttons and blue screen. Color would be nice though...
Polyphonic ring tones are cool, but personally, I think a phone should sound like a phone, leave the cool sounds for games!!! I cant stand hearing "take me out to the ball game" one more time in the movie theatre. Dont get me wrong, I dont think there is any ring tone I actually want to hear in a movie theatre!!!

That's what we switched from....Sprint sucked big time, signal sucked and overall service did too.
Cingular so far is a lot better.

I have Verizon, I'm pretty happy with it. I have friends that use other companies and my service seems to work just as well, if not better than some others.
As for my phone, it's a Motorola StarTac. About 3 years old, and as plain and simple as they come. no musical ring tones, no color screen, no games or things like that.... it's just a phone, ya know? it does have some bells and whistles that I don't really use, like web browsing and stuff. and I believe there's a way to hook a laptop up to it to have wireless internet through the phone. But I haven't really had a need for that.

I have a Motorola V120i thru TracFone, which runs off US Cellular in this area. Nothing fancy, but it has a few more options than my previous Nokia, and I pull a better signal off it than my Nokia, plus it seems to be a better built phone than my Nokia was. No internet, camera, or any of the other hi tech stuff, other than voice dialing, which comes in handy on service calls, when driving, or when plowing snow in the winter......if I need a picture, I grab my digital camera....if I need the internet, I use my computer. After getting hosed on my previous phone and contract by AllTel, I said to heck with it, and went with a pre paid to avoid contract lock in, and with the volume of minutes I buy at a crack, it's not much more than a regular phone anyways. I actually find I manage my minutes better this way, plus if I decide to drop it, I don't have to deal with contract issues or straightening out billing problems. It's actually become more convenient for me in the long run, at least in my case. Where I am, the popular carriers are AllTel and US Cellular....Verizon, Cingular, Sprint, and some of the others are here and there, but don't get too popular till you get into the more urban areas about 60 miles from here.

cutlass95cierra, Im not one to replace something unless its BROKEN either... so breaking it would likely be the best way into a new phone!

Run it over with your car...see if it still works then....
Be sure to take before and after pictures.
