Hi all,
I have two questions :)
1.When we reach 120 KM at speedometer the buzzer starts to warn... and never stops ... ok its a good thing in purpose and i dont wanna get rid of this that but i wonder is there any way to shut that buzzer if i bored in future (without opening a dash or lets say without moving hugely dash parts of this boat or again lets say briefly without making much effort  )

2.I still couldnt learn if we have FE3 type suspension or what...But i noticed that our suspension is very soft or lets gentle ( for example when we are going over small mounds that are made for not to make speed,i feel the huge shaking in steering wheel when going over that small mounds... is it normal to feel this shaking or is there a problem? and if it is FE3 then it is supposed to be more hard suspension right? (i have to ask these questions about suspension because in here we dont have a chance to being in every type and brand of american car that with these type of suspensionS)
Thanks again...Regars all..

You''ve got a speed buzzer??? My buddy had a speed buzzer in his 1968 Delta 88, it was a funny feature. But you could adjust the buzzer by turning a knob to the desired speed. You should be able to do the same with yours, no?

The FE3 wont nessesarily give you a hard ride... As far as I know, FE3 just means thicker sway bars on the front, and the addition of a sway bar in the rear, but that is more to help out cornering. If the car doesnt have the FE3 badge, and unless you beleive otherwise, you likely have the standard suspension package. I think FE3 had something to do with better brakes aswell, but I cant recall.

With the shaking you feel, does it come with sound? Kinda sounds like you might be replacing a tie rod, or maybe a ball joint, but nothing major, I'd have it looked at though.

No this shaking doesnt come with sound it just make you feel the bump in your hands.... the rods and ball joints are in good contion and one of them are already changed(i know them from the last service)... oh yes maybe just i am getting used to these cars :) driving this thing is very enjoyable when i compare to the other european cars... and the thing i also admire is this orjinal authentic look like steering wheel... it reminds me old cars...

Hi oldsman83, hello everyone,

Quote:
........ it just make you feel the bump in your hands ........

If you hit a speed bump straight on, you should feel very little in your hands.

If you hit it at any angle, you should feel the steering wheel pull sharply one way and then the other as each front wheel hits it.

Speedo buzzers were another PIA the manufacturers came up with to keep the feds off their a$$es.

Regards, Norm.

look in your trunk...look at the spare tire cover it will have list of vehicle option codes..if it lists FE3 than you have it..or you can take your VIN number to the dealer and have them print out the vehicle options on your car when it was bought.
