I just got a remote start/keyless entry installed on my car and I love it. I was wondering if anyone else on here has one. If you live in a cold state I could not think of anything better to get for christmas!

I have the car alarm, remote start, and keyless entry. it was pretty expensive b/c they had to add the power locks to my car. It sure is nice though!!

I always love security and keyless entry. I've had it on every car up till my olds, and the only reason I dont, is because I'm too damn lazy to install my alarm. Personally though, I've had too many bad experiences with cars dissappearing mysteriously to trust a remote starter. I know they're pretty secure that way, but if a would be theif saw a car already running...

I dunno. I guess my fear of my car going missing will in turn save me gas in idling! :-)

It's really not that bad because what mine does it once you start it, it automatically locks the doors, and if you somehow got in the car and take it out of drive and push the gas it will turn off. It makes me feel safe enough to let it run for a few minutes before i leave every day.

yeah, most remote starters kill the engine when you step on the brake.

I have one....and it's still in the packaging...still have yet to install it
I took a look under the dash....read the instructions for a while....said what the fuck....and put it back together
I definately can say it's very time consuming to install...even thought I haven't installed it yet...it definately is time consuming :?

Ok, ok. I'm joking. Since I'm 48 years old, I drive old cars, I am Oldsguy, you know, a joke. Like, I don't know whart a remote starter is, maybe it's a long cord form the car to a button, so you can start it remotely.......
