Wow, that was very hard to read, no offense. Anyways, sounds like the window motor is on its way out or could be a bad switch. About the same thing is happening to my Delta, so I know how irritating it is.

It could be anyone of the components in that circut. It is impossible to tell over the net what it is, as it could be as simple as a wire or ground or as major as a motor. That also includes the mechanism the motor operates. Sorry I cant help, but remember to start simple.

that is what i will be doing. i knew it could be a number of things. i was just hoping that it was a more common problem with the a-bodys (like somethin that might have been recalled in a since) but i guess not everything comes ez. -intimidator68

My old Jeep Larado burned out a window motor after running slowly for a while. When I took the door apart (shoulda done it months before  ) I found the track grease had turned into a hard and crusty mess in the tracks. Months of poor-to-no track lubrication stressed the motor for too long.

Well me and a few of my class mates got to test all the components to the driver side window today. we checked the circuit breaker, pcm, the switch, and they were all good. we checked the motor and it was putting out a very very high amp reading. :( the motor is just worn out. because of the high amps it was tripping the circuit breaker after about 3 or 4 seconds of use. i wish it was somethin simple as in a loose connector but cant get everything ur way. -Intimidator68

p.s. how much will a new window motor cost. thx
