Is there a dealer network, or are they using Chrysler stores?

Hi Brianritchie21787, all,

That would be because they are made by Mercedes, in Europe.

You already knew I would but, in this case, you are correct.

Here's an excerpt from the above link:

Historically, US buyers have been more likely to buy a radically different car from it's own dealer network.

Investment in a dealer network is expensive and risky, and the Penske group will only go with it, if they think the potential return is worth that risk.

My Guess is: If it's a go, it will be rebadged for US sales.

Regards, Norm

Hi, all,

I read page two, after my last post. Shows a different perspective.

My preference for V8 rear drive notwithstanding; a 69 mpg hwy rating is not a consideration in a car that I would not take onto the LA freeway system, let alone, on an actual highway. In this area, driving an under powered car of that size, on surface streets, is often scary.

I don't have any problem parking my dinosaurs, anywhere I go.

But, I'm not part of their demographic target.

Regards, Norm
