So, a V8 cannot sound like a V6, but it also can?

Looking through some other threads, I see a pattern: Norm interjects his unsolicited opinion into a discussion, which is always completely contrary to anything already posted. Maybe you say, "Case closed" to yourself each time for effect. When someone responds, you pick apart their post, taking parts out of context and responding to them as if they're individual statements, as you'll no doubt do with this one.

Your knowledge may be extensive, but you're nothing short of a smartass about it. Don't worry, I won't offend the king of this little hill anymore.

I see him like my current calculus math teacher, he gives hints at what he is trying to get at (teach), but wants you to try and decipher what he is getting across so you actually learn and probably never forget it...

I read the pop pop part, I believe that would be running to rich and gas igniting in the pipe, of course you need o2 to make it combust so there also would be an exhaust leak letting fresh air in.

Unsolicited opinion? Tell me then, whats the purpose of a dicussion board, such as this? Does a person need permission to reply to a thread?

I see one pattern with 88Coupe. The pattern is that he tries to pass on correct information, and not misinformation. By debunking misinformation, we collectively become smarter and more knowledgeable on the truth of the subject. This is what a discussion board is for.

You said it best Brando- We can all learn alot from not only Norm, but each other.

I can just see you doing this Norm...

Id like to see examples of stuff taken out of context. Quoting parts of a post helps everyone understand exactly what is meant in the response. I could type out everything I have said, in one paragraph, while quoting you and it would look like garbage, and read like garbage too. Just because someone takes 3 sentences to a quote and then responds doesnt mean that they are 'picking apart your post' As far as responding to them as if they are individual statements, why is that so bad? Is a paper, or a paragraph, or a post not a series of individual statements tied together with qualifying statements, transition statements, and punctuation?

Read whats there. Dont read what isnt. Instead of trying to read with emotion. Read it for what it is. Nothing more, nothing less.

Me worry? You are about as capable of offending me, as you are, of defending your own statements.

Ouch! You know there's more to a hill than just one debate...
