Weak rebound of the shock/strut would cause the wheel to be in the air, momentarily.

Got it fixed temporarily for now...
It was the wiring in general, but the problem was the wire going into the plug for the wheel sensor. The other plug on the ABS jumper harness was fine.
There's two wires, white and black, the black wire's resistance checked out ok on the DMM, but the white wire's resistance was extremely high...meaning somewhere it had a break.
So I tugged on the white wire a little bit, right near the connector to the wheel hub....out came the wire...er...insulation. The actual wire stayed inside the terminal. so it must have been broken inside the insulation and had a very weak connection...when I installed the new wheel bearing and plugged it back in it probably pushed the wire in a little too...making it seem like everything was ok.
I fixed it temporarily...ended up going to NAPA and getting a new terminal that goes inside the plug, stripped some wire....which was all oddly colored...didn't look like copper but it was (all black and fragile). Usually they just crimp them, but I put some solder on the wire to give it a good connection and less chance of breaking off hopefully..for now. Took it for a test drive and lights/codes never popped up so it should be good for now.
So I'll be ordering a new jumper harness...
