For obvious reasons, modifications/conversions were not done on production lines.
Most, if not all, Hurst conversions were done by one of Hurst's contractors. Anyone, other than an Oldsmobile employee, would have had to purchase the car from a Dealer and any "options" that were not on the "checklist" would be installed by dealers, using whatever "kits" they could get. An employee would have had to make his/her own arrangements, regarding anything that was not an
RPO.
Without the actual invoice, there is no way to know how a particular car was equipped at its final delivery.
