Okay.. i know we've all got a few to share.. lets hear 'em

actually, there was this kid from my work who bought a Talon, without the turbo or AWD, and he just couldnt stop bragging about how damn fast and how many races he wins every weekend.

I am not a person who races my car, or even thinks it is capable of winning anything... But to finally shut his face up about this talon being the fastest thing on 4 wheels, I raced him from a light after work one day...

it blew my mind, but by the next light, I had multiple car lengths between me and him (myself being in front), and I kinda laughed and drove home. I heckled him at work for the next week, and so did pretty much everyone at the shop. He said he lost because his transmission wasnt in "power mode"...

I never gave him the opportunity to win his title back after that...

Smoked a Firebird once.... off the line anyway. he probably just had a V6... it's a good thing the next light was red because he was catching up!

my car probably has two or three times more torque than horsepower Good for short distance races, (very short) also good for towing a trailer full of boulders up the side of a mountain. but not high speed racing!

That time with the Firebird was an isolated incident, haha... I usually don't race my car. not only because I hate beating on my car but I don't need to get caught doing anyting stupid if I can help it!

anyone know that older movie: The long, long trailer? I was just reading my last post and thought of that. I haven't seen it in a long time but I remember it is pretty hilarious.
