Yep...there goes the neighborhood! Machismo has returned!!!!!!! 8)
After my month long delay, and the AWFUL change from high speed to dialup (did I mention 21.6 Kbps REALLY bites!), I'm back. Moved the first of August from town out into the country, and between getting settled in, stuff put away, and things cleaned up, I finally got a chance to get back here, not to mention having to have my computer re formatted in the process due to some unknown virus messing with my dialup capabilities.
Anyways, We moved from our small 3 bedroom, 1 car garage with a single lot home, about a mile out of town. Now we have a larger 3 bedroom home with central air, a 24x26 2 bay shop, a barn, and about 2 acres to mess around on, for only $150/ month more than living in town...can ya believe it? I have more room than I know what to do with, not to mention forgetting just HOW nice it is living the hell away from everyone...lol The wildlife is great, the quiet is a nice change, and I can mess with my toys without pissing off the neighbors...WOOHOO!!!
Oh, I forgot to mention I'm working on adding a 4th Olds to the collection....a 1987 Olds 88 touring sedan...I know some of you guys LOVE these FWD luxo cruisers....I'm kinda thinking blacked out trim, tinted windows, and a slight drop in height, but keeping the cool looking factory 16" turbine wheels, not to mention the factory full gauges, auto on the floor with console, power leather buckets, and etc, and leaving the rest of it pretty much stock...just a nice winter beater/cruiser so I can tear into the Vista this winter.
It's good to be back!!!

Thanks guys, but I need to make a few clarifications here.....
Quote: I missed you in a non-gay way. Dude...I sure as HELL hope so!!!!! Quote: So you moved and got some faster internet? Life must be pretty good then, eh? Actually I went from cable TO dialup......life IS good, internet, unfortunetly, ROYALLY bites now... :? Quote: $150 a month!!!!
Actually, my rent increased $150 a month over my previous place....however, I went from paying $400/month for a single lot 3 BR home with a small 1 car garage, to $550/month for a 3 BR home with central air, 24x26 shop, barn, in the country, with 2 acres. Normally around here you can't BEGIN to touch a place in the country for under $700 a month or more.
Still working on the touring sedan....just have to talk my boss out of it..

Which island? Hawaii? Isle Royale? Australia?. Here in the Metro Detroit area it takes almost $1000 a month to get a decent place. I'd take $1000/mo and Hawaii any day over this place.
