Well, it's official...
We're looking around trying to get the best deal, a car is my Christmas present from my mom. 
Went to one dealer...asked if they had any intrigues available...nada.
Went to another dealer...they had an intrigue...wasn't in best condition though and expensive. They also had a nice 2001 Buick Regal, 3.8L, Black Exterior, Black Leather Interior...it was so nice (no idea what price was), but then I walked around to the passenger side and saw "Rega", the l had fallen off...  Not too hard to fix but kind of turned me off....
So there's a dealer that's about 30 minutes away...but it has an awesome deal on a 1998 Black Olds Intrigue GLS, tan leather interior...moonroof, power everything, stock chrome wheels, bose audio system, dual climate control...and it sounds like it was owned by some older people (traded in for a Saab). $5,745 for it. Going to go look at it tomorrow...it looks really nice in the pictures...have a look:

Intrigue's are great cars I was going to get one but then I saw the Final 500 Alero and had to go for that! There's lots out there for them too, especially for the 3.8L V6. good luck w/ the car!

Well...on the search again...
Damn that was a nice car...they were prepping it up for sale.
Someone bought it 15 minutes before we got there (30 minute trip).
So...my life doesn't work out right like usual!

Yes...I'm still looking...
They're supposed to look too, the people who had that intrigue. They have good connections...so hopefully they get something nice like that in again. On the lot, they were selling some nice jags and escalades too...

I am green with envy... how come you get a nice new car and I have to drive a wrecked up 1988??!! Just kidding, congrats man, good luck with the search... Dont settle for anything, make sure its "THE CAR" beforehand... You'll be driving it you know

I had a '99 Dark Blue Intrigue. Those are nice cars. Keep looking. Don't settle for what you don't want or you will not be happy with it.

They do have a 1993 Jaguar XJ6 with around 71k miles on it for the same price as the Intrigue was going for...but if anything were to go wrong with it...the parts would cost a lot more than for the Intrigue. Still looking...haven't found "the one" yet...I'm also considering an Aurora if I can find a good low mileage one at a good price.

The delership that was putting the engine in my truck last winter gave me a car just like that to drive while they had my truck (same color too). More than one person asked me... "is that your Saturn?" I don't know why, I guess alot of saturns are that color.
For the few months I was driving it the engine seemed to be pretty reliable, the only thing is it made quite a bit of noise somewhere in the valvetrain when it was cold, but being a loaner it was probably beat on quite a bit.
