Anyone know where I could find some 12V LEDs? I know, use a resistor, but in some spots it's pretty tight and a little hard to fit a resistor in those spots (talking about radio display, HVAC control, etc...). I've been pondering about changing the bulbs to blue LEDs.

I found a green 12V LED, but I read the description further and saw that it was a blinking LED! #-o
Wouldn't that be funny....

Goto Discrete, and then Multi-Chip...Products Coming Soon
Here's the actual listings, I'll settle with green instead of blue...as long as I don't have to change bulbs :D

brando, I was reading a while back in some magazine that they had developed color changing led's, depending on the voltage and current, the color emitted would change through the rainbow.

THAT would be cool... Choose your own color! :-)

i picked up a couple 6v l.e.ds from radio shack for 6$ and wired them in a series for my dome light, doesnt throw nearly as much light as neon but it still illuminates the upper half of the car without blinding me.. i think you can get them with specific intensities but im not sure, i would say radioshacks definatly worth checkin out
