Hey i was wondering if its still possible to get those rims from oldsmobile the ones on the 86 and 87 cutlass ciera's the ones with the spoke style but its all flat on a rim, i think it looks amazing and its 14inches so it fits my 85 easily, so rare!

Hey, take a look at my rims, they are after market, very similar (i think) to what you are describing. They cost me just under 600 bucks (canadian) with change over and everything. These rims have a much wider offset than stock wheels, gives the car a wider looking stance.



They are made by Sendel Wheels, and are 14" aluminum. Might be a cheaper way to go than factory wheels (maybe).

yes yes those are the ones im lookin for, do they still make them? cause i went to there website and it wasnt there, got a link? i need them to stand out a bit, right now my wheels seem to far tucked in under the fenders, i wanna make it close to the fender, i was thinking about adding 1cm spacers to what i have now, or would that not work?

1 CM? I think the wheels actually moved out more like 1 1/2 to 2"! Makes a big difference anyways. I have been on sendel's site before, but I havent seen my wheels on there. I beleive if you go to your local tire shop and ask them to find some, you'll have some luck. I only bought mine last may.

tires are 215/60/14's

they have similer rims on the siloiutte but like you say their not flat like mine are..

Yes those are the ones, there so nice, it makes the car look aggresive, rather than those flat hubcaps, but yah is there anywhere i can get them?

ok i need some help with these rims! I found the exact ones i want from a recycling place. Hes asking $50 canadian per rim. I was wondering how i would like restore them, cause the plastic coating over its all cracking and there discolored, other than that there fine. How would i remove all the plastic coating and clean them? i wanna spray paint them after? any suggestions? Sanding? with fine sand paper?

right now my tire size is 185/75/R14 would it be ok for 215/70/R14? the exact tire size i need is 215/65/R14 but they dont make that size, i could either go 60 or 70, i think 70 would be better

ok...heres the deal...a 185/75R14 is 25" tall, with a 7.2" section width (sidewall to sidewall), and a tread width of 5.3", approved for a 4.5-6.5" rim.
heres a couple other sizes to ponder....

so, as you can see, you have a few different tire options available to you, depending on what height and width you want. Many of the Olds and Buicks I've seen have been upsized to 205/70R14's, if they didn't come with that tire originally.

When i bought tires for my delta, we searched through the guy's tire books till we found some nice sized tires. I think they look great on my car for 14" tires. Lower profile, but not too small that it affects ride. I believe they are 165/60/14's. They are quite small, but look good, great traction on ice and they were CHEAP! i paid 260.00 for all 4, including mount and balance and tax! I was happy. They are not retreaded either!

i think a better way to compare tires is to look at the revolutions per mile. that is what i compared when i went to slightly wider tires. getting something with the same or close RPM is what you need because then the speedometer will be correct and the transmission shift points will remain the same.

My tires are 215/75R14....
