On the other hand that 90 3800 engine probably will, just like that ranger. I'm not an expert mechanic.. espicially with fuel injection, but i am pretty sure that that engine NEEDS it in order for it to run the way its supposed to due to the fact that the computer is expecting it to be there. with it disconnected it will probably run like.. well... doo-doo
Side note, why would you want to disconnect it? i can understand on an older carburator engine... well, kinda *from what i've read the 80's 307 actually kinda likes it
